About Me & My Nest . . .
Hello, my name is Ashley Wilson and I run this blog, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
First and foremost I am a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ, if it wasn’t for His grace I wouldn’t be here doing what I love to do.
I have always been a lover of the arts and a creator by heart as I have been drawing and painting since the age of three. I graduated in 2009 with a degree in graphic art design at Northeastern State University.
I also met my now-husband, Matthew Wilson (a total geek) at Northeastern State. We were married a few years later and had three beautiful kids which you may have seen in some of my cloth diapering videos.
My husband and I both play music for our church. We enjoy doing outdoor activities like Kayaking, camping, and hiking. We are also pretty geeky as we love old-school video games and working on our websites.
I run this blog MyGreenNest and I have a background in video production, graphic design, social media marketing, and communication.
Fun Facts About Me!
I’ve been drawing and painting since the age of 3, I am a wildlife painter who paints mainly in acrylics.
When I was in college I owned every gaming system including the Atari.
The Legend of Zelda is my favorite video game … EVER!
I learned almost every Zelda song on the piano. It drove my mother crazy!
My parents owned an indoor arena and I was training to be a barrel racer before my horse had a seizure and kicked me in the eye. This happened in the first grade and marked the end of that endeavor.
